Dream Herb Tea

This herb, Calea zacatechichi, has been used by the Chontal Indians of Oaxaca (Mexico) as an aid to lucid dreaming for divination purposes. They drank a strong infusion of the herb in hot water and also smoked it. The Chontal medicine men say that this plant is capable of clarifying the senses and calming the nerves. Many people find that a spoonful (2g) steeped in hot water before bed will help to facilitate vivid dreams that are easily remembered. It is a very bitter herb and you will most likely want to add some sweetener. Grown organically here on Kauai.
